Something is hidden, waiting to be found.
It might be a physical prize or real cash, or just a final code to crack. Single-winner quests end the moment someone finds it; multi-winner time trials let everyone finish, ranked by speed.

A light-blue circle marks where to play.
It's usually 500m to 2km wide, and it doesn't shrink yet. Staying inside it isn't mandatory, but only players inside it receive the free, timed green clue cards.

What's a checkpoint, anyway?
Usually a famous landmark, a statue, a cultural site, or a sponsor's own venue. Reach one and stay a moment. Sometimes that's all it takes; sometimes it asks a quick question first. Either way, you walk away with a clue toward the final code.
Get clue cards at checkpoints.
Two types of clue cards:
- Checkpoint clues - earned at checkpoints.
- Timed clues - free, just for staying in the active zone.
Each one either points you to the final spot, or hides a riddle.

Not every clue is text.
Some clues are a real photo of something you need to spot on the ground yourself. Match it, and you'll know which way to go.
Proxymeter: how close, exactly?
One-time use, time-limited. It reads the real distance to the target in meters, not a vague warm or cold, and updates live as you move.
Redactor: rule out ground, instantly.
Stamps roughly 30% of the active zone as dead space in one move. The prize is never inside it, but checkpoints and power-ups there are still fair game.
Compass: a rough bearing, gently wobbling.
Points a wide, deliberately imprecise sector from where you're standing toward the target. A direction, never a straight line to walk.
The zone turns red, and starts closing in.
Now it's mandatory: stay inside the shrinking circle or you're eliminated. Any checkpoints left outside it pop and vanish from the map as it tightens. The circle doesn't shrink toward its own center. The real target is offset, hidden somewhere inside it.
Everyone left is chasing the same clock.
- Single winner: first to enter the code takes it, full stop.
- Time trial: everyone has until the quest ends to find and enter it, ranked by how fast they did.
The circle stops. Now it's a close search.
Once the zone finishes shrinking, it holds still. Everyone left gets a real window to use remaining power-ups and collected clues to find the final prize, or decode the final magic dictionary if this quest uses one instead.
Find it. Crack it. Win.
A sealed box, a decoded dictionary, sometimes real cash - whatever this quest hides, it always ends the same way: type in what you found.
First to enter the code wins, full stop - whether it came from inside a Clueva Box, a cash quest, or a decoded dictionary.
Everyone has a shot at the code until the quest ends. The faster you crack it, the higher you land on the leaderboard.

Snap it. Flex it. Tag us.
A branded frame drops in right where you found it - your leaderboard rank in time trials, or just the giant fact that you won. Share it, or don't. Either way, you earned it.
